Citizens for Affordable Homes, Inc. is proud to offer a weatherization
assistance program to Carson City, Lyon County, Storey County and Douglas
County.
The weatherization program focuses on measures such as:
- Ceiling, floor and duct insulation
- Insulation of water heater pipes
- Install low-flow shower heads and fluorescent lighting
- Health and safety measures
- Carbon monoxide testing
- Other services available depending on home type
Eligible applicants can receive energy saving measures on their homes free
of charge and is available to homeowners or renters.
